The baby kittens have arrived :) Olivia named her kitten Midnight. Elliott decided to keep the name the kids had given to her kitten - Sophie. They are a lot of fun. Except for when the decided to crawl up under the cabinets and behind the dishwasher. Sophie was coaxed out pretty easily, but Midnight required more work and a coat hanger. No worries - no kittens were harmed, and that hiding place has been taken out of commission. I'm sure it's the first of many they will discover.

The girls celebrated America Reads at school this week.

Monday they had a birthday party for Dr. Seuss.

Tuesday was Hats Off to Reading day.

Wednesday was Get Caught Up in Character day. Olivia dressed as Hermoine Granger. Elliott dressed as Sister Bear from the Berenstain Bears.

Thursday was Grinch Day -they both wore green.

Friday was Cozy Up to a Good Book day. They got to wear pajamas!! Elliott didn't want to wear pajamas to school. I offered to trade her and go to preschool in my pajamas and she could go to work for me. She didn't think that was a good idea. Sigh...

Happy Valentine's Day! We had a special family dinner. The girls chose the menu of heart shaped pizzas and fruit kabobs, with heart shaped brownies for desert.
